Workshop and Dahlia Sale!

Get ready to break ground on your 2024 garden with our Plan, Prepare and Plant session of Garden Fever on Saturday, May 18th at 10am.

Join the Master Gardeners at Cornell Cooperative Extension Oneida County for a hands-on workshop where you'll learn tips and techniques for a successful garden season. All participants will leave the session with a fabric container planter and the knowledge on how to fill it. Note: You do not need to have attended our 4/13 session to attend, all are welcome.

Registration is required to attend the Plan, Prepare, Plant workshop, cost of registration is $12. Deadline to register is 5/16 . Immediately after the session ends (11:30), Master Gardener Volunteers will be hosting a Dahlia sale, where over 20 varieties of Dahlia will be available for purchase. The Dahlia sale is free to attend and open to the public. Proceeds of all Dahlias sold will go into the Parker F. Scripture Botanical Gardens onsite and the Master Gardener Program.

During the Dahlia Sale, Master Gardeners will also accept soil samples for testing, which costs $2. Please bring a plastic bag (sandwich-sized ziplock) of soil along with you to the event if you would like this service.
