Eat Smart New York (ESNY) is a free, confidential nutrition education program to help you and your family manage your food resources during tough economic times.

You are eligible to participate if you are applying for or currently receive food stamps, or you are in receipt of or participate in WIC, Head Start, Medicaid, Aid for Families with Dependent Children (AFDC), or Supplemental Security Income (SSI).

Lessons can take place in community space. Together, you and a nutrition educator will plan practical, hands-on activities and healthy meals  that will help you and your family. As well as exploring the importance of physical activity in a healthy lifestyle.

For more information, contact Cornell Cooperative Extension at (315) 736.3394 extension 106.
