Sharing knowledge and enjoyment of the natural world

CCE's Horticulture Staff and the Master Gardener Volunteers are active in our community, sharing expertise and spreading our enthusiasm for gardening and active living with nature.

We help Oneida County residents learn how to:

  • Manage their landscapes and gardens in a science-based, sustainable manner
  • Address environmental and social priorities such as water conservation and the protection of water quality
  • Reduce the impact of invasive species
  • Increase public awareness of opportunities for healthy living through gardening
